Demonical @ Dark Troll
Put your foot on the gas pedal and off you go with this next band.
Founded in 2006, the Swedish death metallers are bursting with power and energy. They have released seven studio albums, three splits, three EPs and a demo during this time. After several line-up changes in their career, they have now reached their peak and most recently released an absolute beast in 2022 with “Mass Destroyer” via Agonia Records.
Demonical are a more than worthy breakout into a different genre and we're really looking forward to a heavy dose of Swedish death metal!

Furor Gallico @ Dark Troll
Italy's folk metal scene is known to be very big and brings out some treasures.
We are pleased to welcome one of the biggest and most successful to the Dark Troll!
Founded in 2007, the band from Lombardy has released four albums so far. Their latest album “Future to Come” saw the light of day in March this year and shows once again how good and multi-faceted the band is.
Our anticipation is huge and we hope you are as excited about Furor Gallico as we are!

We are delighted to present another gem.
The one-man project from Ukraine was founded in 2012 and has already released six albums, while the last one was released past March. Forest ambience meets atmospheric black metal and leads the listener into the infinity of the unknown.

Mýrdal @ Dark Troll
Let's continue bit by bit with our line-up.
Today we have a black metal duo from Leipzig, which was founded in 2022.
The project, inspired by Icelandic black metal, creates a gripping world of sound with minimal instrumentation.
The sound of the recently released debut album, which is a mixture of chaos and atmosphere, melody and rage, is completely convincing.
We are delighted to welcome Mýrdal to the line-up.

Vintersorg @ Dark Troll
It remains absolutely crazy. The line-up for next year shows what it's made of! Something unthinkable is coming true. We were able to establish a fantastic conversation, quickly realized that we were on the same wavelength and are thrilled to be able to confirm an incredibly rare appearance by an absolute legend.

It's a project that was founded in 1996 by mastermind Andreas Hedlund.
The band from Skellefteå, Sweden, has released ten albums and one EP till now, each of which speaks for itself and is absolutely convincing. In addition to several other projects, a new album is currently in the making, which will be released later this year.
As if this announcement wasn't already enough, this show will be even more special than it already is, because it will be an insane 80-minute set including a song composed especially for the Dark Troll that will never be heard before or since. When we heard that by Andreas, tears were streaming down our faces.
We are infinitely happy about Vintersorg!

Sólstafir @ Dark Troll
Guys! We're freaking out...
After years of hard work, we can once again fulfill a dream and we hope that it makes you as happy and proud as it makes us!
The performance of this band in the atmosphere of the castle ruins at night will provide unforgettable moments full of goose bumps and tears.
The atmospheric Icelandic rock'n'roll sound, which is unique to the band, offers a journey through ice and snow, fire and lava as well as breathtaking soundscapes of their homeland, one of the most beautiful countries of all, Iceland. This is reflected on all seven albums, five EPs and three demos and will be continued on the eighth album which will be released later this year.
With a chaos of happiness, we are very happy to welcome the almighty SÓLSTAFIR with a 75 minute set at the legendary Dark Troll!

Thjodrörir @ Dark Troll
Gold brings wealth, gold brings death!
Dwarf mines under the troll ruins? That would be extraordinary, but not impossible. Let's see if the next band can uncover them.
The pagan metal band, founded in 2016, was already with us in 2022 and stepped in at super short notice for a band that had to cancel due illness. This year, it was important to us to have the band on board early and from the beginning on. And this will happen next year.
The band will also be releasing their new EP "Aurum" before Dark Troll, which we will be able to hear in full at the castle.
We are very pleased that our friends from Thjodrörir will be joining us.

Here's a song for those of you who don't know the band yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWWFTf7l8g0&ab_channel=Thjodr%C3%B6rir

The Vision Bleak @ Dark Troll
Today a band that has never been our guest before, at least not in this combination.
Long overdue, we are delighted to welcome the duo, which was founded in 2000 and recently released their seventh album. The album was inspired by strange stories, poems and other literature of horror and the macabre.
The masters of horror metal will take the castle ruins into dark spheres and provide some goosebump moments!

The Committee @ Dark Troll
Today we can unveil a band that wasn't released upfront. After seven long years, the international band is finally returning to the castle ruins!
The black/doom metallers want to present historical facts in a new light and from a new perspective. They have set themselves the following motto: "History is written by the victors. We are the voice of the dead".
The band's performance is captivating, leaves you in total emotional chaos and is an absolute must-see. You should definitely not miss it.
We are delighted to finally be able to have our friends of The Committee back at the Dark Troll!
